Senior/Disabled Housing
The senior/disabled housing complex is located at 65 Miller Avenue, Milton, MA. To live in state senior public housing, you must be at least 60 years old. If you are a non-elderly person with a disability, you must meet certain state criteria to be eligible for housing as a disabled person.
APPLICATION REQUIREMENTS FOR WAITING LISTS
If you are a senior (Age 60 or older) please submit:
- One Complete Signed Application
- Proof of Age (i.e. copy of birth certificate, passport, license, etc.)
- If you are a current Milton resident, please provide proof of current residency (i.e. driver’s license, utility bills, voter registration card, etc).
- If you are employed in Milton, proof of current employment.
- If you go to school in Milton, proof of enrollment.
If you are a veteran or a surviving spouse of a veteran and age 60 or older please submit:
- One Complete Signed Application
- Proof of Age (i.e. copy of birth certificate, passport, license, etc.)
- A copy of your Veterans DD214. If you are the surviving spouse of a deceased veteran, please provide a copy of the death certificate along with the veterans DD214.
- Proof of current residency (i.e., driver’s license, utility bills, voter, registration card, etc).
- If you are employed in Milton, proof of current employment.
- If you go to school in Milton, proof of enrollment.
If you are handicapped or disabled and under 60 years of age please submit:
- One Complete Signed Application
- Physician’s Verification Form (enclosed with application)
- If you are a current Milton resident, please provide proof of current residency (i.e., driver’s license, utility bills, voter registration card, etc).
- If you are employed in Milton, one proof of current employment.
- If you go to school in Milton, proof of enrollment.
